The last couple of weeks have been crazy at the Collet house. Nala is now 10 weeks old and is getting more and more comfortable with her surroundings everyday which means we have to keep a closer eye on her. I don't think I quite knew what I was getting myself into before she became a part of our lives. We received great advice and read up on puppies like crazy beforehand but it’s never enough to prepare you for what’s about to happen. Our life is definitely different from before and I’m not going to lie sometimes I wish we didn't have her in our lives. I have yelled at her and cried over things she has destroyed and over all the scratches and bite marks we have on our bodies. Don't get me wrong she has her moments where she is the cutest thing on the planet and we love her to death!! We still do no matter what but in the moment of all the craziness I have to stop myself from wishing I could take her back. I know she will grow out of this phase and become a mature dog that we love and adore. I can't wait for the day when we don't have to pen her up when we leave the house or when we let her roam free without fear of her having an accident. Those days are slowly moving towards us but for now its puppy Nala that we have to love and adore. Most of the time that’s an easy thing to do LOL!!
As for everything else that goes on in our lives that is not concerning Nala my photography is going amazingly well. I am still doing everything for FREE and love it. I have done probably 20 shoot or more and love it more more every shoot. I love how it brings out the creative side of me that is just begging to come out. I learned so much in the past couple of months it’s been amazing. We have purchased some add on materials to make my photographs even that much better. (Thanks Honey)!!
Adam recently got accepted to attend SLCC starting on January 11th to begin his journey to becoming a high school physics teacher. It will be a long road one that will take a toll on me since I will hardly see him...I know its what he needs to do and I stand by him 100%. I hope the road is a smooth one and that it will make his dreams come true!! I am hoping to make some additional money doing photography to help pay for this road that is in the distance. Wish us luck!!
