Eat...Nala...Work...Nala...Sleep...Nala...thats life

The last couple of weeks have been crazy at the Collet house. Nala is now 10 weeks old and is getting more and more comfortable with her surroundings everyday which means we have to keep a closer eye on her. I don't think I quite knew what I was getting myself into before she became a part of our lives. We received great advice and read up on puppies like crazy beforehand but it’s never enough to prepare you for what’s about to happen. Our life is definitely different from before and I’m not going to lie sometimes I wish we didn't have her in our lives. I have yelled at her and cried over things she has destroyed and over all the scratches and bite marks we have on our bodies. Don't get me wrong she has her moments where she is the cutest thing on the planet and we love her to death!! We still do no matter what but in the moment of all the craziness I have to stop myself from wishing I could take her back. I know she will grow out of this phase and become a mature dog that we love and adore. I can't wait for the day when we don't have to pen her up when we leave the house or when we let her roam free without fear of her having an accident. Those days are slowly moving towards us but for now its puppy Nala that we have to love and adore. Most of the time that’s an easy thing to do LOL!!
As for everything else that goes on in our lives that is not concerning Nala my photography is going amazingly well. I am still doing everything for FREE and love it. I have done probably 20 shoot or more and love it more more every shoot. I love how it brings out the creative side of me that is just begging to come out. I learned so much in the past couple of months it’s been amazing. We have purchased some add on materials to make my photographs even that much better. (Thanks Honey)!!
Adam recently got accepted to attend SLCC starting on January 11th to begin his journey to becoming a high school physics teacher. It will be a long road one that will take a toll on me since I will hardly see him...I know its what he needs to do and I stand by him 100%. I hope the road is a smooth one and that it will make his dreams come true!! I am hoping to make some additional money doing photography to help pay for this road that is in the distance. Wish us luck!!

Nala=[ENERGY]

I have not blogged since the 28th of September and the reason being is a couple of things. 1st Nala is very time consuming and wants to play all the time 2nd my photography business has kept me busy and 3rd by the time I am done taking care of the 1st and 2nd things on the list I'm exhausted and have no energy to blog. So today I finally found time to write a bit about the past couple of weeks. We picked up Nala girl on the 26th of September a week earlier than we had anticipated. When we first picked her up and brought her home is was scared of most everything but now nothing phases her!! She chews on anything in her path including our flesh OUCH! Her teeth are very pointy and sharp so its not very fun to get chomped on. She is a ball of energy as is any puppy but sometimes she gets so riled up we have to put her in her crate to calm down. Potty training is going fairly well some days are better than others but were working on it. She will be 2 months old tomorrow and she can barely fit under the couch where she likes to hide. Its hard to tell how much she is growing since we see her everyday. It has definitely been an eye opening experience for me since she is the first pet that actually interacts with you and doesn't just swim around (no offense Luna) LOL! We love her to pieces but at times what to ring her neck! She is a beautiful dog and when ever we take her places we get stopped every 5 mins with people wanting to pet her. We are grateful she is a part of the Collet clan and hope shes around for many many more years. Probably by then both Adam will have new wardrobes since she loves to chew our clothes. She is most likely going to be a bumble bee for Halloween but it might just change to a little Devil costume depending on her behavior the day I buy the costume so stay tuned to see what she decides to be! LOL Love you Nala girl

Our Baby Nala Is Home........

We are so excited for our little Nala to be able to come home!! She is the apple of our eyes and such a sweet puppy!! She already is a Daddy's girl. She loves me too but she has her Daddy wrapped around her little paw..LOL She can be the calmest cuddle bug ever and then she can be the most playful energetic thing ever.It is so fun watching her explore her new world. Everyone that has come in contact with her loves her at first sight. We love every minute we spend with her and can't wait to watch her grow and learn but not grow to fast.... :)
..She is 7 weeks old today...

The Past Couple of Weeks...

It seems like it’s been a long time since I have blogged!! Mr. C and I have been so busy with life that blogging sort of got put on the back burner. A lot has happened since I last wrote and now that I have time to sit down and do it I don’t know where to begin. So I’ll begin with… a couple of weeks ago I developed a small ache in my side which at first I thought nothing of since it was not that bad. Well it kept getting worse slowly to the point where I couldn't lay on my right side at all without it hurting badly. I endured it a few days and then I started asking the people I work with what they thought was wrong with me. Their response was either Kidney Infection or a Kidney Stone. I did not want either of those though, I knew they both were possible. I eventually went to the Dr’s and she diagnosed me with a Kidney Infection and put me on antibiotics for the next ten days. I took the medicine for about 3 days with little improvement. I was wondering what was taking so long. The Dr had told me if it was better at all that I should come back to see her… so after 4 days of really no improvement I called and told them what was going on and they immediately ordered a CT scan of my kidney’s to see if I had a kidney stone which I did the following morning by that afternoon I had the results. There was no stone or anything else that looked dangerous. I continued to take the medicine and by the next day I was feeling a bit better and now I am 100% YEAH!! On another note my photography business is almost in full swing I have had 6 shoots now and will have 5 more this weekend, I am trying to build up my portfolio and hopefully by the big wedding season next year I’ll be making some money to supplement our already great income!! I am having a blast with each and every photo shoot I have done and they are all different and unique in their own way. I have started a new blog to keep you all update on the latest and greatest shoots as they come my way it's http://kissandtellphotography.blogspot.com- On another note we are picking up our puppy Nala this Saturday the 26th! We are so excited and pictures of her are to come as soon as I get my hands on her! J
