C is for {Cabela's}...

Last weekend Mr.C took me to Cabela's for the first time. We had a blast just looking at all the fun things. That place is huge and there prices are outrageous but it gave us some great ideas of things we want to buy for our next camping excursion or the new gun Mr. C wants to buy or the fun things for Nala. We told each other we were not going to buy anything and I am happy to report that we stuck to our word although we did have a few things in our hands we decided against them. I love experiencing new things with Adam we always have fun together and that is definitely one of things I love about him. They have huge wildlife that are on display here are some pictures of them. Most of them I would not want to ever come in contact with. Taking a picture of a stuffed one is much safer lol!

A Visit To The {Aquarium} ...

On Saturday afternoon we took little Ember to the Living Planet Aquarium. We always have such a fun time when we are with her. She is such a cutie!! I had not seen the penguin exhibit yet and I bet we spent a good half hour just watching them. They have some crazy looking fish and marine life there. We watched the sharks for a long time too. They seem to swim in the same pattern over and over it was quite funny. Adam got there a bit later so we got to see everything again. We bought her a baby seal stuffed animal it was so cute. She fell asleep in the car on the way home holding her new prized possession. Here are some pics from our outing...

I love having things to look forward too and to be a fan of.

This amazing family is doing 

just that and they may be going 

mad but that is the great thing

about it.

I think it's crazy and at the same time brilliant!!

I would love to be able to

see the country like never before.

I would love to give my children a once in a 

lifetime experience they will never forget.

The memories and photographs that would come 

from such a chance would be countless.

The bond that would be built from being so close

 to one another would be priceless.

...I WOULD TOTALLY DO IT TOO...

and I can't believe that I am saying that

because it goes against every fiber in my body 


but...

I think that's why I would do it.

Wordless Wednesday

{Balloon} meet Nala...Nala meet {Balloon}

I love introducing Nala to new things and so on Saturday when I was blowing up balloons for our St. Patrick's day party she got very excited about them even though she had never seen a balloon in her life! At first I hesitated at first but in the end I caved. I had Adam get the video camera ready. I had no idea what she would do. I love watching her experience firsts... here are the videos for your viewing pleasure!!

{Perks}

Sometimes waking up early in the morning to take Nala out has its perks. These pictures were taken yesterday morning at around 8:00. I grabbed my camera in my tired stupor and shot some amazing pictures from our bedroom window..

The {Damages} are done...

I haven't posted much lately about this cute little girl-

but don't worry she has been busy destroying her panda bear...

the damages are done and I think the panda is ready for a break. Last week I tried distracting her with something else while trying to throw the panda away since all the stuffing was falling out everywhere and causing a mess. I put the bear in the trash quickly and walked away hoping that she wouldn't notice and she would soon forget about it. I learned very soon that I can't out smart Nala. Within 5 minutes she was standing next to the trash can sniffing it once she realized her bear was in there she would not move away she gave me this look as if to say "how dare you mommy trying to throw away my favorite bear" and she wined a few times...oh man, so I went over and got the bear out of the trash and for the rest of the day she wouldn't let me go near her bear. Although I'm constantly picking up lit bits of stuffing its worth it for her to be happy!! I took pictures of the damages that she has already done to the poor thing...it's beyond repair now maybe someday ill try again but for now she loves that thing to death!! Such sweet memories!

{Cousins}={Best Friends}

These are the faces of people I couldn't live without...

Growing up I never felt alone because I always had my cousins there. Until recently we have never lived more than a mile from each other. They are more like brothers and sisters to me. I see most of them almost every week and to some that may seem crazy but to me it is normal. Our bond to one another is stronger than I can describe in words. We are there for each other like no one else can be. The amazing people that have joined our bunch over the years have blended so well and it's like they have always been there. We protect each other, we stick up for one another, we are there when we are needed, we laugh together, we cry together (rarely), we are each others best friend. I am so grateful that our family has raised us so that even when we have grown up and have gotten married we still see each other all the time. Not many people have the bond we do and that's something no one can take away or destroy because at the end of every day there is nothing I wouldn't do for any one of my cousins.. I know they would do the same. When I was given the news about Adams choice the next day I was having a rough day and who was there when I needed them yep..my cousins Curtis & Brooke they came to my rescue and I would have done the same for them...the word that comes when I think of our friendship is unbreakable...something that is irreplaceable!

It makes the problems that I face.
