Adam and I caught the Christmas bug!!

Adam and I decided it was time to put up the Christmas tree(the day after Thanksgiving). Since
its our first Christmas together as a married couple we were anxious to put it up!! We first had
to decided where it was going to be for the next month, we found the perfect place for it all because of my brilliant thinking and because there was an outlet close by to plug the tree into LOL. A couple of weeks ago we bought a pack of 100 ornaments from Sam's Club and some ribbon as well to go on the tree, they have been sitting in the front room waiting to be put on the tree. After we bought hooks and got all the ornaments ready it was now time to hang them all which is not an easy task! We got that done after what seemed like awhile and got the ribbon on without knocking anything over cause as you see in the pictures the tree is sitting on a table that is about the same size as the tree base so there is not much wiggle room to have to move so we had to be EXTRA careful to not knock the tree over. After all was said and done and when got to stand back and look at the final project we were very happy with our work! It is the perfect little tree for us. Enjoy the pictures!!

COLDPLAY CONCERT 2008!!

So Adam and I just got back from the Coldplay concert tonight!! I am so grateful I got to share the concert with Adam we had a blast and even though our seats were pretty high up you can't tell from the pictures Adam took with our great camera. The concert started at 7:30 but Coldplay didn't even start playing 'til 9. It was so hard to wait for and hour and a half to see them plus the bands before them were very annoying and made waiting even more difficult. I added a few clips from the concert none of them are very long but there still good. I add some of the best pictures as well. Coldplay put on a great show and I'm so glad we had the opportunity to go. They have amazing talent and know how to perform and keep the energy going for 2 hours which is not an easy task. As you can see from the last clip Christ Martin is sweating up a storm but it just shows you that they put 110% into there performances. I walked out of the concert not wanting it to end and I know Adam felt the same way as me. It was nice our give my ears a chance to rest though LOL!!

Twilight Movie!!!

I wanted to post and let everyone know how great the Twilight movie was tonight!! Adam and I bought tickets to the 11:59 showing at the Jordan Commons. We decided to take a nap before the movie and so we set both of our alarms for 9:30 so we could do some things before we had to go. Well both alarms went off at 9:30 and we proceeded to turn them off and drift right back to sleep. I woke up again and looked at the clock it said 10:20 and by then I  thought even if we did wake up now we wouldn't be able to accomplish much before the movie so we might as well sleep right?? Yeah that was a bad idea the next time we woke up the clock said 11:20, we bounded out of bed so fast and got our shoes on and grabbed our stuff and were out the door by 11:30 and made to the theater and in our seats by 11:57!! Talk about lucky :) I am so glad we did make it because Twilight is one of the best movies I have seen this year. Adam read the books and I didn't but after seeing it and from Adam telling me parts of it as he read the books I had a fairly good understanding of what it was about so I think that was one of the reasons I loved it. Since Adam had read the books he said that the movie went right along with the book so that's good and he loved it as well and we both want to see it again. So we decided were going to drag Sara (Adam's younger sister) to go see Twilight as well, so that way we have another reason to see it again. I recommend that everyone see it whether you have read the books or not it's a fantastic movie and I am looking forward to the next one. :)

Carrie Underwood Concert!!

Adam and I had the privilege of going to Carrie Underwood's Carnival Ride concert at the E Center. We were excited to see how great of seats we had 9 rows from the front of the stage. We weren't close enough to see great details but it definitely wasn't nose bleed either. In the excitement of going we forgot the camera which was really dumb of us and cell phone picks don't do the concert justice so hopefully theres a next time so we can be smart and bring a camera anyway we had a blast and even Adam was singing along to some of the songs he knew so that was nice knowing he was having a good time.  We will forsure bring the camera to the Coldplay concert on Saturday :)

Sleepover with Sara!

Adam and I invited Adam's sister Sara to come spend the weekend with us so we picked her up from Provo on Saturday afternoon and we saw High School Musical 3.
We all thought the movie was ok but a bit cheesy and i'm surprised that Adam even concented to go LOL!! After the movie we grab a pizza and headed for home that night we let Sara choose a game to play and she ended up choosing Disney Pictionary the DVD game.
It's actually quite fun and entertaining, but since of us are expert drawers we failed misrably on that aspect and most of the time the drawings turned on hilarious!! I took some pictures while we were playing the game and so here they are. We are so grateful to have Sara in our lives she has such a sweet spirit and we are looking forward to the next sleepover with her!!

Baby Taft is 4 months old today

Taft is 4 months old today and my oh my has he grown!! He is soo cute! His little personality is growing and developing day to day! He is getting much more active and loud LOL. His cry is now louder and stronger but at the same time his giggle and sqealing sounds are getting louder as well. He is also developing his likes and dislikes here are a few that I have observed over the last month.
LIKES:
1. He love to have alone time to be by himself and jibber jabber away to himself
2. He loves to watch tv and his favorites are Oprah and Dr. Phil only because he likes looking at peoples faces. He likes to talk to them and I'm sure there listening Taft!! LOL
3. He loves his swing. Once I swaddle him and put him in there he's out and will sleep for hours!
4. He loves to hold his hands together as though he is praying and tries to chew on them at the same time its so cute to watch

 DISLIKES:
1. He hates tummy time and if I can entertain him long enough he will tolarate it (sometimes) lol
2. He hates being hungery. You will know when he is hungery trust me he won't let you forget.
3. He only hates going on walks if he can't see anything, if he is able to look around he loves it other than that he always crys.
4. He dislikes any other bottle except for the ones he has had since birth, Melissa and I have spent a lot time in the bottle asile at Target trying to find other bottles to try that might be better for his tummy.  When we finally choose one and try to use it he will only drink out of it if he is starving and doesnt want to be picky.  What a silly boy he is

What a funny baby my Tafty is, he is such a joy to take care of. Everytime I see him smile it makes me smile cause he is so dog gone cute.  I cant wait to see him grow develop more but for now I love him just the way he is!!!
