{The Greatest Show on Earth}

Adam and I took Ember ( one of the little girls from our old sunbeam class) to the Circus this past weekend and we had a blast as all the pictures can prove! She got spoiled rotten...her mom sent her with $40 dollars and so we got the spiny light up toy, snow cone in a cute elephant cup, cotton candy w/ hat and a Sprite plus Adam and I had a pretzel and drink. We had fun spending time together and we hadn't seen Ember for awhile so it was fun being together! She is a blast and so well behaved. Ember and Adam get along so well, she has him wrapped around her finger! It's so cute to watch them interact! So glad we got to go and it was worth every penny and the smiles were priceless! We love you Ember...Thanks for a fun day!

No (Ordinary} Obsession..

If you have read my blog from the beginning you would have read this post it has now been a little over year since that post and since then my collection has grown by leaps and bounds. If you are now just reading my  blog I suggest you go back and read that post which you can do just clicking on the link(the link is the word post that's in blue at the top) because this post will make more sense if you do. Anyway I have slowly been increasing my collection of baby clothes for the baby I don't have yet but..that's OK I know I will have a baby one day and this is just my way of making the waiting easier/ becoming more prepared. I know to most of you this is a crazy idea and I need to get a life and spend my allowance on other things like myself but trust me I don't need clothes or shoes or anything for myself. So I am spoiling the baby that will one day join our family and he/she will be the best dressed baby ever!! As you can see I have both clothes for a boy and a girl and most the time you end up with one or the other so I'm not exactly sure what I will do with the clothes that I don't up using but I'm sure they will go to good used no matter if we get a Grayson or an Ember. Yes, those are the top picks on our baby name list both have special meaning and if you steal them you will be hurt LOL jk jk!!

P.S. having a few baby clothes laying around comes in really handy when you have to come up with a baby gift on the fly. I found that out recently. :)

{NASCAR}

So as many of you don't know my Mom, Grandpa and Grandma became overnight NASCAR fans (though it seemed that way to me, they tell a different story) I was in complete shock when we came over one Sunday for dinner and they were watching a NASCAR race. I questioned them on there sanity and asked why all of a sudden they were fans. I had no clue they even liked it! So according to them they have been fans for weeks just never told me. Growing up I never pictured my Mother getting so excited for a guy driving a car....but I guess I thought wrong LOL Now that I was clued in to what all the excitement and as we were forced to watch a few races I began to see what the whole craze is about and which drivers were good and which ones weren't. A few days ago a thought crossed my mind...( I know crazy I actually think) LOL anyway instead of wondering what on earth has possessed Mom to be a NASCAR fan I thought why not join her and the rest of the gang and become a NASCAR fan myself. I am not actually sure why I have had such a change of heart maybe it's so my Mom and I have something we can bond over or maybe its because I like driving fast (most of the time) and if I can't drive 100 mph or more why not cheer for people that can and not get a ticket!! LOL So people you are looking/reading the newest NASCAR fan!! I know jaw-dropping!! So when I asked my Mom what driver I should call my own she gave me a few names and after spending way too much time on NASCAR.com researching drivers and who was the best and of course the hottest ( you can't cheer for an ugly driver) I told my Mom I would let her know of my decision by Sunday  ( that is when the next race is). I now can announce who my driver will be that I will cheer for...drum roll please!!
 DENNY HAMLIN I am excited for this new craze/ new obsession. I have no clue what I am doing but I spent an hour reading his wikipedia page and I am trying to learn all about him and actually know what I am talking about...it will take time... heck I cheer for Peyton Manning and I don't know all the much about him other then he is amazing quarterback for my favorite football team and frankly thats all I really care about, ok that and the present football season. Ok back to NASCAR, when I told my Mom of my decision she was ecstatic and when I told my Grandpa he said "why do you want to be a NASCAR fan it's boring" LOL I said then Grandpa why do you watch it then he says most of the time its good and that its exciting but he tends to doze off while watching most of the races. I don't care if I doze off a few times but there will be boring times but...that is a small price to pay to be DENNY HAMLIN's almost biggest fan! LOL I actually bought a very cute shirt of Denny's that will arrive at my home shortly and maybe then I will feel the NASCAR spirit until then I will question my own sanity!! LOL
( Here are the rest of the drivers that have invaded our life)
{Jeff Gordon is Mom's driver}

{Tony Stewart is Grandma's driver}

{Jimmie Johnson is Grandpa's driver}

{P.S. Adam wants no part of newest fad but he supports whatever I want...so sweet}

{Collet} Life....

Life in the Collet house couldn't be better!! With the exception a few household things here and there it is pretty darn good. We are as busy as ever and yet life is good. Adam and I both have great paying jobs and Nala is happy as a clam! We are soooo close to being debt free we can taste it. We both have been working hard to pay off debt and save for a house that we can't wait to own. Both Adam and my family are happy and healthy and to me what more could you ask for!! I have been working 2 jobs for a couple of months now and so far hasn't drained me to much plus the extra money is nice. We recently bought tickets to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra in November and we are excited to go to that. We are going to a murder mystery show in a couple of weeks and next week is the circus! You can of course bet there will be pics to come of that event. We are so blessed to have everything working in our favor right now and we are so happy not only in life but in our marriage. I love Adam more now then when I married him, everything we have experienced together and have learned not only about each other but ourselves has only made us stronger. We have had our ups and downs as any marriage does but I can't wait to see what the future holds!!

Picture Frame

This picture frame looks like a normal picture frame but it has a funny story behind it.
 I bought this picture frame when we were about to move into the house in Millcreek (a year ago) and the whole time we lived there it sat on the bathroom counter with no picture in it yet.
I kept meaning to put a put a picture in it but never got around to it. It now has been a year and its still sitting on our bathroom counter with no picture in it!! LOL
I don't know when i'll get the chance to put a picture in it but for now it's empty waiting for the right picture to go in it. I hope that someday it will go to good use otherwise It will just take up space on the bathroom counter forever. I look at the frame everyday too...It just goes to show me how busy life is and that putting a picture in a frame is a last priority!! LOL

Our Trip Was {ZOO}-pendous!

This was the first time Adam and I had been to the Zoo this year and it was the first time for Adam's two sisters Erin and Sara. We had a great time seeing all the animals and most of them were pretty active. We saw the bird show they have there and although Sara and Erin are terrified of birds they seemed to enjoy it as well. They kept ducking when the birds would fly overhead it was hilarious. I think my favorite thing was the baby elephant Zuri. She is adorable and very curious. They have the bear section under construction so that was kind of disappointing and we didn't get to see the penguins, hippos or any bears. The dangerous creatures area was not very entertaining either. Oh well we had a fun day and the crowds weren't bad at all which made the viewing the animals that much better. The weather was perfect and made for a lovely day. After the Zoo we went out to lunch at Cafe' Rio! Adam and I both love that place and so do Sara and Erin so it was a great way to end our time together. I always love spending time with Sara and Erin getting to know them even better our bond has grown so much in the 2ish years Adam and I have been married.
Adam and I are blessed to have them in our lives and I am excited
for all the fun things the future has in store for them!! It was a great Saturday one that Adam and I both desperately needed. Thanks girls!!

Something to {PoNDeR}

Today I was reading this blog {spencerandkylie.blogspot.com} and I stumbled across this post that really struck me and I wanted to share it....so here it is... Enjoy!!

home.
memories.
family.
old friends.
old boyfriends.
old stomping grounds.

i love it all.
the memories we have, both the good and the bad.
they're nice to have.
it reminds us who we are.
it tells our story.
it all fits in one big picture that defines YOU.

it's funny how all it takes in life is a change.
a move.
a new path.
leaving something behind,
but looking forward to something new.
change is good, but change is hard.
above all--people change.
one day, you are with that someone every day.
best of friends. inseperable.
the next, you are gone.
haven't spoken a word in days, months, or years.
it's crazy how that happens, isn't it?

life keeps moving. we keep moving.
but our memories stand still.
and each day we create new ones.
until one day, when we're old and chubby,
we smile and look back at our photographs or journals and say,

"wow. i had a good life. how blessed i am."

just remember when you're down, sick, depressed, alone, or struggling...
with something, anything.
there is ALWAYS someone who is struggling more.
maybe even fighting the exact same battle as you
life is ever evolving.
be grateful for who you are, where you are,
what you're doing and who you're with.
life is beautiful. it really is.

we live in a free country.
the united states of america is a land many people take for granted.
be grateful you have food in your cupboards and a bed to sleep on.
maybe even a TV and an over stuffed closet.
too many pairs of shoes to count,
more than enough gadgets or surfboards.
whatever it is... be grateful.

there are children living in poverty who don't have any "stuff."
conditions beyond imaginable.
with family and a dangerous job working in the mines of bolivia at age 8,
for $2 a day.
risking death daily to provide for their little family.
there are children in countries where they are not allowed to go to shool.
they cannot learn.
or progress.
they are stuck.

there are children living in countries where religion is banned.
coming unto christ is NOT an option.
worshipping as you wish is NOT an option.
there are children who have seen the effects of war.
who have experienced it FIRST HAND.
who have watched their loved ones die.
yet, they still carry on.

love everyone you meet. love your life. hold your family dearest.
because they're the ONLY ONES who will be there in the end.
that, and a conscience that questions, "did i do enough?"
