Petsmart Puppy Class...Week 1

Here is another catch up post seeing as this event happened last week (11-02).
When we first were going to get a puppy I told Mr. C we had to have her go through the class for puppies at Petsmart. He agreed and so we signed her up right after we got her and since she had to be 10 weeks to start we had to wait a few weeks. The very first class was just a get-to-know-you class which was great. We had never taken Nala to Petsmart before where there were other dogs. When we arrived she would not walk she just stood there and would not move a muscle. We carried her into class and at first she was not sure what to think, she started whining a bit but quickly warmed up to the idea and started to venture out from where we were sitting. She started sniffing the other dogs and immediatly wanted to play with them! We had to keep pulling her back and holding her which she hates with a passion, but she is relentless and doesn't give up easily. But when it comes time to do the actual class she freezes up and won't budge. We were told to go the back of the store to practice what we were just told but of course she wouldnt move when it was important. Since we didn't bring any treats we had to borrow some from the trainer (how embarassing)!! We go back to class and of course she begins barking and trying to play with anyone who would give her attention. Then she decideds that she needs a potty break right in middle of the floor....sigh!! After cleaning that lovely present up it was time to go but of couse she didn't want to move and so just like we carried her in we carried her out hoping next week she is better behaved....

note to: self bring lots of treats next week!!

[KING] Of Pop

Sorry to all my blog readers I have been ignoring the blog for a bit since I have had other things going on. My mom and I went and saw MJ's new movie "This is It" on the 30th. We both are fans of the King and couldn't wait to get a glimpse of what he we was like right before his tragic death. I have to say that the movie is very well made and I recommend it to all MJ fans. While watching the movie you can totally tell that the music was such a huge part of Michael he knew it soooo well every note, every beat and every tone and even if it was just the tiniest bit off he knew and during rehearsals he made sure it was exactly how it need to be to sound good. For being the King of Pop he could have easily been snobby and arrogant he is nothing of that sort he was kind and loving to all the cast and it was nice to see that. I loved the music and found my self singing along to most of the songs during the movie. Boy can that man move!! He is a great performer and leaves you wanting more. It was 2 hrs long and yet I found myself not wanting it to end and I'm sure my mom felt the same.. He is truly awesome~~
