November 30 Days of {Thanks}

So I am a slacker when it comes to the "30 days of thanks" but oh well...I guess I'll start on day 12 because lets face it you all know I would have come up with amazing posts for days 7-11 right?? right. LOL

Today I am thankful for the camera...

I can not count the times I have looked at pictures taken in the past and was so glad that picture was taken.

Some little moments in life would have been forgotten without capturing them. Here are some of our little and big moments:

Today I am thankful for our jobs..

We both have worked full time ever since we got married and we have built our lives with the help of our jobs.

We have not always worked where we do now in fact we both have changed jobs a few times since 2008 but we are happy were we have landed now in terms of our jobs.

Any job has it's moments that make them not so fun and enjoyable but we would not be where we are without them.

We have been able to provide for ourselves with little help from family which we are very grateful for.

Most days, like most of America we wish we didn't have to wake up to go to work but we all know it's a necessity of life and we should just make the best of it.

I am thankful for music...

Music gives a soul to the universe,

wings to the mind,

flight to the imagination and

life to everything.

Day ... 5 

I am thankful for my 5 senses...

eyes to see...

ears to hear...

nose to smell...

mouth to taste...

They are easy to take for granted but without them life would 

not be complete.

Day ... 3

Today I am thankful for my health.

Over the course of my 26 years I've dealt with serious to minor health problems most I will have forever but I have on more than occasion amazed doctors.


I have surpassed odds, overcome stumbling blocks and lived life to the best of my physical ability.


Since about high school, I have only really had to deal with minor health problems being able to do as I please for the most part.


Don't get my wrong there have been alot times when I ask myself why me, why did I get dealt this hand. Am I supposed to learn something from is... I know and maybe I haven't learned that part yet or maybe I have and I am learning it everyday without knowing it. All I know is I was dealt this hand and I am going to do my best with it. 


I have been able to enjoy many experiences because I have been so healthy. I have been able to meet milestones that I thought I would never achieve. I have endured, I have conquered and I have been amazed at my body for all that it has overcome and withstood.

DAY ... 1

Today I am thankful for my home..

I never dreamed of owning such an amazing one as I do.

We were so blessed to be able to purchase it when we did and the timing was just perfect.

I love the area I live in and although it is quite far out in boonies I LOVE it.

It's not easy caring for and up-keeping a home it and it does come with it's own set of challenges I wouldn't trade it for the world.

It may sound silly but when I saw the ad for our house I said to Adam " that's going to be our house." I had no clue that would actually come to true at the time but I had a gut feeling and I was right.

I love having somewhere to call home. We have moved almost every year we have be married so nothing was ever home for long. On December 21st, we will have been in our home for one year! I can hardly believe it.

We have created some great memories in our home this year and there are many more to come I'm sure :)
