Adam and I along with Grandma & Grandpa Pistorius went up to [Silver Lake] this afternoon, which is up Big Cottonwood Canyon by Solitude Ski Resort. I was excited to go there not only to take Adam since he has never been but because I wanted to see what it was like in May, sure enough there is still snow on the ground. There was more snow on the ground than what I expected there to be and it also was still a bit chilly. It was so nice to get away for a few hours from the hustle and bustle of the city to the quiet and peaceful mtns. We were only there for a short time but we will definitely come back later in the year so that we can walk all the way around the lake on the boardwalk since today's visit did not do [Silver Lake] justice. I did get a few great pics from our visit so here are a few of my favorites!!!

[Roses] are [Red].....
I got a dozen [ROSES] today!!! I was so surprised. I came home to find a note from the floral company on the door saying that they left the flowers at the office of our apartment building. I got so excited and immediately went there and retrieved them. There so gorgeous and amazing. I love to get flowers and since I was not expecting it I was even more happy!! The card said Happy Belated Mother's Day :). Thanks baby they are beautiful and when you see the pics I'm sure you'll agree!!

Belated [Mother's Day] post!!!
Hey Everyone since I have been busy and since it's like pulling teeth to get Adam to write on our blog, this post is a tad bit late. Adam & I had a great [Mother's Day]!!! We woke up and were a tad late to church but made it in time to teach our little sunbeams. After church and a bit of a relaxing period we went over to my moms and grandparents house for dinner and get together with extended family. I gave my mom this amazing CD of Primary Music played on the piano buy a guy named Paul Cardall, he is on the list for a heart transplant and is an amazing piano player! My mom loves things like that so she was happy. I gave my shopaholic grandma a gift card to Kohl's!! I know you may be thinking how impersonal to get her a gift card but for a grandma who has everything she needs that's the only thing I could think to get her. She was happy so that's all I care about. As for Adam's mom she is clear in New York so we were not able to see her on [Mother's Day] but she is coming this weekend so we will be able to give her gift then. I did get gifts from my mom and grandparents!! My mom got me numerous things such as new socks which I needed, a gift card to Michael's and to Red Robin. My Grandparents got a me a new church dress which I needed so they did a great job and chose perfectly. Thanks Guys!!! Overall my [Mother's Day] was a nice relaxing day to spend with the people who I love and who love me the most!!! I just want to end this post by saying how much I appreciate all my mom does for me!! She is always willing to do anything to help me out. There aren't enough thank yous in the world to express how grateful I am for her and all she does to make my life easier so thanks mom your the best love ya!! To grandma, all I can say is nobody has a better Grandma then me!! She is so talented and amazing, I have learned so much from her over the years and will cherish all that she has taught me and will teach me in the future. She does anything it takes to help me out and I am so grateful for that. thanks G-ma!!
To my mother-in-law Vicki, thank you for opening your family and heart to me I have had a great time getting to know the amazing people in your family and look forward to many more fabulous years to come!!

The {CrAfTy} side me!!
I have been in the CrAfTy mood lately....thus you get to see the makings of that mood. I had a baby shower to go to and wanted to make something for it, so I racked my brain and the picture below is what I ended up creating. I love how it turned out and it only took me about 3 hours. I had seen these before and I have always have wanted to make my own and so I finally had all the ingredients :) They make a great gift and are definitely original!!
This is the name of the baby on the way
